At some point earlier today, I discovered I had a little problem getting to the main page. Usually I just click the header, "Home" or the "Midnight Shadows" link that's up at the top (that's followed by links of the other subforums I'm viewing/posting in), but for some reason, it's not working. It just keeps saying "loading" on the tab, but "Stopped" on the status part. The only way I could get to the index was clicking on the "Home" button in my toolbar since MS is my homepage (). Now for some reason, that's only working part of the time.

I can click all the other links and navigate the site at a normal speed, but any link that would lead me to the main index just doesn't want to work for some reason. Ideas?

ETA: Ok, now clicking the "Midnight Shadows" link on and off works, but clicking the header still doesn't. :/ I'm suspecting it's something on my end somehow.

ETA 2: Ok, nevermind that. Everything works all of a sudden again. Must've been this weird fluke.

Well it does sound to me like either you're indeed having connection problems (meaning that likely clicking the Home button might have loaded the site out of the cache rather than actually loading it freshly) or someone was doing maintenance server-side.

Since this resolved itself, I guess I can close it?

But the thing is, all other links *except* anything that would lead me to the main index was working. Like, I could search the WWD, it's subforums, any other forum via the drop down bar at the bottom and post at normal speed.

But yeah, whatever it is, it got itself resolved, so this thread can be closed.
