FGB Promotion
Guidelines
- FGB Initiator: Trainee
- Wiccan In Training: Level 1
- Mystic Warrior: Level 2
- High Priestess/Priest: Level 3
- Sorceress/Sorcerer: Level 4
- Magic Charmer: Level 5
- Master of the Craft: Level 6
- Guardian: Level 6s with Guide Lounge/Hollow access
- FGB Guide: Level 7
Level 1-6 students should be aware of the following categories which their promotion request will be judged on:
Role Playing - The quality of role playing as seen throughout the FGB and WWD. This is included but not limited to the quality of Role Playing in fight threads, Missions, tournaments, and character development threads.
Character Development - This category looks specifically at how a character has grown, changed, and developed throughout the level. This could involve storylines with other chars, player interactions, relationships, the power/char development missions, &c.
Power Knowledge - This encompasses accurate power knowledge as displayed in fights, training threads, power usages, and missions.
OOC Involvement - The miscellaneous category that keeps track on what you, as a player, do around the FGB and WWD. This could involve spiking activity in the Offices, contributing suggestions in meetings, carrying out a job, and showing an overall initiative in the FGB and WWD.
*When applying for a promotion, don't worry if you have a thread that falls into more than one of these categories. If you choose to divide your threads into categories, you can simply have a section titled "Character Development/Power Knowledge" or something else along those lines.
**As Role Playing is embedded into every IC post you make, it is not necessary for that to be a category in your promotion request.
***WWD threads are now incorporated into all of these categories.

Level T Promotion System
In order to be considered for promotion, a Trainee must have submitted a bio to his/her Guide and must be approved. The basic WWD rules should be read and understood. The following activities are the minimum required to be considered for a promotion.
1 Power Mission/Combo Mission
1 Into the Unknown/Divine Crusades thread
1 WWD thread
Each thread must contain at least FIVE of your posts, excluding your entrance/setting description post to count. Make sure that both power usages and character development aspects are involved somewhere in the posts you submit for your request.
Once you feel that all the requirements have been fulfilled, you must post your promotion request in the Promotion Thread, including all the links to the threads so that the Guides can analyze the post and discuss your promotion.
Level 1 Promotion System
A level 1 student may be promoted after 30 days of their last promotion in FGB. The student should post in the FGB Promotion thread when he/she thinks they have fulfilled the necessary requirements. The guides will then analyze in group if that person should be promoted to next level.
If the student hasn't accomplished his/her requirements he/she will have to wait for 20 days to ask for promotion again. He/she will be explained what has to be improved in order to get a promotion.
Level 2 Promotion System
A level 2 student may be promoted after 35 days of their last promotion in FGB. The student should post in the FGB Promotion thread when he/she thinks they have fulfilled the necessary requirements. The guides will then analyze in group if that person should be promoted to next level.
Those who have shown a greater aptitude or achievement than the required may be awarded with a Bonus Power (level 2 and up). These students will be chosen by the Guides and will not be given to all those who have a greater aptitude or achievement.
If the student hasn't accomplished his/her requirements he/she will have to wait for 25 days to ask for promotion again. He/she will be explained what has to be improved in order to get a promotion.
Level 3 Promotion System
A level 3 student may be promoted after 45 days of their last promotion in FGB. The student should post in the FGB Promotion thread when he/she thinks they have fulfilled the necessary requirements. The guides will then analyze in group if that person should be promoted to next level.
By this time, the Guides will look into other factors other than the quality and quantity of posts. The higher levels serve as role models for the other members of the FGB. Therefore, attitude and showing initiative in the FGB and the WWD (by taking part actively in meetings, train other members, help members when rules are broken or misunderstood, and anything along those lines) are being judged throughout the posts of the applicant.
Those who have shown a greater aptitude or achievement than the required, may be awarded with a Bonus Power (level 2 and up) or with a Bonus Weapon (level 3 and up). These students will be chosen by the Guides and will not be given to all those who have shown a greater aptitude or achievement.
If the student hasn't accomplished his/her requirements he/she will have to wait for 30 days to ask for promotion again. He/she will be explained what has to be improved in order to get a promotion.
Level 4 Promotion System
A level 4 student may be promoted after 55 days of their last promotion in FGB. The student should post in the FGB Promotion thread when he/she thinks they have fulfilled the necessary requirements. The guides will then analyze in group if that person should be promoted to next level.

Level 5 Promotion System
A level 5 student may be promoted after 65 days of their last promotion in FGB. The student should post in the FGB Promotion thread when he/she thinks they have fulfilled the necessary requirements. The guides will then analyze in group if that person should be promoted to next level.

Level 6 Promotion System
A student who has reached Master of the Craft status will have to submit his/her option of custom power to the Guides, so that it can be approved. The guides would analyze in group if that person's custom power should be accepted by treating it as a regular FGB power.
If the student's custom power hasn't been approved he/she will have to wait 15 days in order to re-submit the power. He/she will be explained what has to be improved in order for the power to get approved.
Those who have reached this status may be awarded with a Bonus Power (level 2 and up) or with a Bonus Weapon (level 3 and up). These students will be chosen by the Guides and will not be given to all.
Level 6s may be invited to the Guides' Lounge once they've gained the needed experience.

Ring Approval
Guidelines
In order to get your ring powers approved for WWD usage, you will be required to follow these steps:
Actively use your ring power around FGB (along with your other powers) for at least a week.
Constantly refer back to the power tables, making sure you are using the ring correctly each time.
If you are unsure about how your ring works, make sure to ask about it in power questions before continuing with a fight.
Once you feel you are ready and have mastered each aspect of your ring, sign up for a Power Mission or a Combo Mission. Note in your request that it's for a ring approval.
After you have completed your ring power/combo mission you will receive feedback from one of the Missions Supervisors, they will also decide if you are ready to use your ring in WWD.
If they feel that you are not ready to wield the power in WWD, you shall be asked to practice some more with your unapproved ring and sign up for another Power/Combo Mission when you feel that you are ready.
If you are promoted to the next level, your ring is automatically approved for WWD use.
For more information about how Missions work, read this [FAQ] (http://midnight-shadows.org/showthread.php?t=7783).
