I mean Milo's a lead of the leads :-p But I love Sylar. Seriously, he's so hatable and that just makes him an even better villain. The actor (I keep forgetting his name) is amazing in the role, and I so pray they'll keep him around for much much longer :D

Hahha, personally, I can't really decide if I want to keep seeing emo!Peter Petrelli on screen anymore. I liked the character until he got all emo, and then he became just plain irritating.

I agree that Zachary Quinto plays a really awesome Sylar... in the sort of twisted yet so pitiful way.. I would hate to see Sylar gone from the show, but I can't imagine how the heroes would allow him to get away before the season ends. :(

Zachary Quinto! Yesh! I think by the time I remember his name, he'll be dead on Heroes. Eh. And I totally agree there, Bing. I have little hope that he will survive the end of this or the start of next season (cliffhangers are so the hottest thing these days *frowns*). But still, I can have hope, right? :-p I mean, he'd be an asset to them with all the powers he's accumulated. Just that he'd probably never get any new ones :-p He's basically the opposite to Peter. They do have the same powers, just that Sylar's way of adding to his scope doesn't work without harming people. :chin:

Which reminds me, I wonder what happened to HRG! I can't believe the writers managed to make me actually like this guy after almost half a season of hating him.

Watching episode 19 was one of the first things I did when I got up this morning. ;) It was indeed awesome... not quite what I expected, but I can sense that it's building up to something huge for the finale.. Personally, Claire is just... blehhh to me. Not my favourite character, definitely. At least Hiro is cute in the funny-naive way... Jess/Nikki are interesting just by themselves... Parkman is boring, but I'm bias cos' of Alias.. The entire Petrelli-extended family have just been emo and wishy-washy.. not superhero enough for me. :-p

And I don't think it's been explained yet what they mean by "save the cheerleader, save the world.." Maybe we would get some answers in the finale, but so far she hasn't really done that much. Although, she does seem to be the catalyst for some sort events that might unfold. :shrug:

Episode 20 was so awesome, have you guys watched it!!! I just finished watching it and I'm still so excited.

The first half was just so "WTF?" but OMG, you have have have have to watch up till the end.

The Peter vs Sylar scene was so amazing! *fangirlsquee* I wish it went on for more than the 5 secs though. I would really, really like to see a Peter vs Sylar showdown one day.. especially since they're both so similiar in so many ways!

I love future!Peter so much I feel like such a sellout. So much for saying just a few posts ago that I didn't like the character. :-p All it took was 1 episode for him to become my favourite male character (after Hiro!) :-p But then again, it's only future!Peter I like, not currentemo!Peter. o_O

I didn't really like the way they put Peter/Nikki together. It felt so wrong, although I guess it might somewhat make sense. And seriously, Maki Osa totally rocked in this episode. It was great seeing him play 2 different Hiros. I love his acting!

And seriously, big twist of the night was seeing Nathan turn into Sylar. I was like.. "omgwtf!" I seriously thought that Nathan might've turned evil, which was quite a pity.. I totally forgot about him wanting to steal Claire's powers until I saw the blood...

Umm.. what else. Oh, poor Matt turned to the 'evil' side. :( And i don't get why the Haitian would wanna work with Homeland Security?

Ooh, and future!Suresh definitely needs to do something about that facial hair. My friend was telling me all he needs is blue hair dye and we'll have a real life Beast (from the X-Men). :-p

I'm not sure what to make of Molly's power to find anyone by thinking about them. I guess it's useful in terms of stopping Sylar, but I was sort of expecting something more...explicit, like we could see it happen.

I'm nervous about next season. The show was so good it will have a lot to be compared to and all. I'm just hoping it doesn't get worse at all. I think with all the writers and stuff it could turn out even better than the first season. :D

Isn't anyone watching the new season? Shirtless Milo all the time and Sylar looking all kinds of wrong in a black wife beater! It took a while to finally pick up (just like last season), but it's finally pretty awesome again. I hope the writer's strike won't last long, I really don't want this season to have only 10/11 episodes. :(

I'm really liking the virus storyline, even if it seems too much like 'Save the cheerleader, save the world' (hopefully Peter won't be the cause for it this time by doing something like bringing an infected annoying Irish woman back to the past). Still prefer the older Heroes storyline to this one, especially because of Adam/Kensei/Sark.

He's by far my favorite new character, though I really like Monica and Elle as well. However, Maya and Alejandro need to be killed by Sylar RIGHT NOW. They're SO BORING. I'm still not sure if putting Sylar with them - how the hell did he get out of that island, anyway? - was the best idea. Sure, if he's around them wearing that black wife beater, no one is looking away, but he didn't improve their storyline much. =/ And I hope they don't ruin his character by making him develop actual feelings for Maya. Also, Sylar/Sylar? Hawt.

Peter FINALLY recovered his memory in the last episode, I couldn't stand his amnesia (hopefully he's forgotten all about annoying Irish woman) and I'm so glad he's hanging with Sark. I really want to know why The Company thinks he's so dangeroes.

Claire/West. BLERGH. Cute overload, then he was all stalkery and creepy and now I just want Mr. Bennet to kick his pretty little ass. Mr. Bennet, by the way, is my favorite character. That finger twisting scene was the coolest thing I've ever seen and I hope he does it again. He's going all kinds of crazy to keep himself from dying (Noooo!) and to protect Claire, who's acting like an insufferable spoiled kid (why didn't she scream at West when he showed up at her house when she asked him not to!?). And if Claire actually left her car unlocked because she's too dumb to function and it has no correlation to anything, I'm gonna be so pissed.

The same with the duplicate powers. That has to have a reason, right!? Sark and Claire; West and Nathan; Weiss and Mr. Weiss (as we don't know how power inheritance works and this is the first case of parent and child having the same power, it might fit here. I dunno) and possibly Ma Petrelli (it looked like it when she was talking to Heidi) and that persuasion girl who made out with Mohinder and maybe Isaac.

Also, Nikki has a new personality! Who annoys me more than her! I WANT JESSICA BACK.

Mohinder must be really stupid if he just told The Company about HRG for NO REAL REASON (kind of like giving them Molly). And his pseudo-marriage to Weiss (I can't remember his name on this show right now. =S) is amusing and their little family is so cute. Even if Weiss is an asshole. GAH.

Random: Loving Peter's new hair and hating Nathan's. It has a Depp-esque feel to it, but no hair emotes better than Kyle Chandler's, so please, get a haircut.

I gotta say I love the virus storyline and I think what this does so well that last season did too was the whole idea that the bad guys still have good intentions. I'm going crazy! I definitely don't want them to kill off Elle or Monica who are my favorite characters on the entire show. I'm thinking their going to go for Niki as she already has the virus and that would just be sad. I would probably cry if she died and that doesn't usually happen. Who else? We know their taking off two, I wouldn't mind seeing Adam killed. I really find nothing interesting about him, he should have stayed in the past. But we'll see. I'm just not crazy about that storyline, though it's going to lead to some juicy stuff.

I'm in love with Elle. Of course it's the best casting decision EVER! I was so disappointed to hear Veronica Mars was being canceled, but am now so very thankful that it happened. This is the perfect role for Kristen Bell. I just want to see her get into some major @$$ kicking. I also am obsessed with Monica who's just amazing. I still think she could have taken out the group of "gangsta's" with all of her special martial arts stuff. Her power is just awesome.

There has to be something with all of the power similiarities. I mean look how many people carry the same abilities. I've wondered about this ever since it was really brought into the story with West. I wonder why Claire hasn't made any kind of connection, but than again she's not the brightest apple on the tree. So we'll see where this goes.

I could not believe Alejandro was murdered by Sylar. I just didn't see that coming and after it did, found myself trying to put together everything that had just happened. It just seemed to unlikely, but I don't think he's going to kill Maya. Her power can basically take him out in an instant, especially if she finds out he killed her brother. So we'll see anything may happen.

NBC Reveals:

It looks like NBC is very well aware that pulling the plug on Heroes’ Season 2 because of the Writer’s Strike has done great damage to the show among its viewers, because according to the network’s co-chairman, Ben Silverman, NBC plans a pretty major comeback for Heroes, including opening the September 15th Season 3 premiere with what he calls “a massive two-hour Heroes film”. Wow. Massive, huh? Silverman also talked about the scrapping of Heroes: Origins, the proposed Heroes spin-off show that was supposed to bring some big heavy hitters like Kevin Smith and Eli Roth into the Heroes universe.

“We consciously chose to rest [Heroes] this spring so that [creator] Tim Kring and his team could get ahead of the creative and build up to a massive event–a three-hour Heroes night,” Ben Silverman, co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios, said during the network’s upfront presentation to advertisers in New York on April 2. “On Monday, Sept. 15, we’ll kick off with a Heroes clip show to try to bring back the audience and [then air] a massive two-hour Heroes film.”

Silverman also explained why the heavily hyped, much-anticipated Heroes: Origins was scrapped. The show was originally conceived to help eliminate Heroes repeats, and directors and writers–including feature-film vets Kevin Smith, Eli Roth and Michael Dougherty–were already lined up before NBC dropped the idea.

“We were taxing our creative team to do too much around that,” Silverman said. “We wanted 35 Heroes [episodes] and 12 Heroes: Origins, each of which was supposed to be a mini-movie and backdoor pilot. We reached far and challenged our people, and we decided it was better to focus on keeping the Heroes mothership as strong as possible.”

I originally heard this from my addiction [heroespodcast] and it was like OMG! Still hasn't been confirmed that Kristen will be on the show but she says they are working it out, so I'm assuming we will see her in volume 3.. cause well.. everyone loves Elle.

When Heroes Season 2 came to an unexpected end last year due to the Writer’s Strike, the cast of Heroes went and did other things. One of them was Kristen Bell, who was in Hawaii shooting the Judd Apatow-produced comedy “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”. While doing the press junket for her movie, Kristen got a lot of questions about Heroes, and whether she would return. According to her, she wants to return, but although she doesn’t come out and say it, the negotiations seem to still be going on for her to make that return. And get this: according to Kristen, before the Strike hit, she had already shot two episodes that were supposed to appear in Season 2’s Volume 3, “Villains”, which has now been re-scheduled as Season 3.

MoviesOnline: Did the writers’ strike shorten your Heroes arc? Was there more we would have seen?

KRISTEN BELL: Yes and there’s more that you will see. It interrupted my “Heroes” arc.

MoviesOnline: The rumor is that you weren’t coming back.

KRISTEN BELL: If I don’t come back, it will be because we didn’t work it out. I want to go back. As far as I’m concerned, I am going back. I’m not under contract but I’ve had such a good relationship with them and I’ve had so much fun doing it and had such a great storyline and I’ve shot two episodes that won’t air until we shoot the entire arc. I did take a movie unfortunately because I’m not under contract with them in New York for 12 weeks. So I’ll be about 4 weeks late coming back to when they shoot but as of right now the negotiation that’s going on is that they’ll be able to file my scenes in and I’ll just shoot a condensed version right when I get back and then catch up to everyone else and they don’t air until September so they have the ability to do that.

Yes the first hour is a clip show.. but then the 2 hour premiere.. a first for heroes.

Also, since Heroes: Origins has been .. well shut down.. there is some speculation on some of the characters being shown on the original show.

I know what you’re thinking: “Great, just what we need, two more recurring characters?” Hey, I share your dismay. It would seem that Season 2 was pretty much jammed with way too many characters to begin with, and now Kring and company plans to introduce yet two more recurring characters into the mix come Season 3? Apparently yes, according to Michael Ausiello over at TV Guide. But hey, at least this time we’ll get a politician who isn’t a total scumbag, as politicians in genre TV shows tend to be. This one is described by Ausiello as a “straight shooter”, as oppose to, you know, “totally scumbag politician”.

Two new recurring roles are being cast, both of which are slated to debut in the Season 3 premiere. “Joy” is in her early twenties and described as “quick on her feet — and adept at getting herself into and out of trouble.” Senator Robert Malden, meanwhile, is in his fifties and a political straight shooter.

I guess I stand alone with wanting Elle to be a good girl. But as long as Kristen’s on the show. :-p

You know? So many people say they add way too many characters to show through the duration seasons. Well, I don’t really think that at all. I mean if you think about it the only two characters really added in aside from what was happening in the current like flow of time who really didn’t have a reason of being there was Maya and her brother. Not to mention this season was cut short from the writers strike which would’ve given us more time to get used to them. I think if they toned down the adding of new characters this season, I’d probably be a little angry. I wouldn’t have my sweet Monica or even Elle. :shrug: I would also like to see Monica take on the more motherly role for Micah. Now that Niki’s presumably dead and not returning. She's just so amazing on the show. I can't wait to see her actual spawn off and get into the real action of the show. It'd be awesome seeing her fighting with some type of villianous person. As long as she's good! I was also thinking the other day. They’re saying . . . wait a second. I think spoilers are needed. :hehe:

Anyway! They’re saying that Niki’s not returning, nor are her two alter-egos. So I’m thinking that they’re going to bring a character back from the dead through Niki which would take over as an alter-ego. They say their bringing Ali Larter back, but it's neither of her alter-egos, but it's someone we've seen before. It would make sense as her dead sister was Niki, and the other one - well, I’m not really sure - but I’m thinking someone is coming back through her. Though this apparently has the possibility of changing due to any circumstances.

Looks like another Veronica Mars alum will be joining Kristen Bell on the Heroes cast list for Season 3. TV Guide reports that Francis Capra is the next actor to join the show this season and, while details are light at the moment, we do know the name of his character will be Jesse and that he’ll likely be a villain who’ll eventually cross paths with Peter Petrelli.

Heroes' Claire Gets Bad
Hayden Panettiere, who plays invulnerable cheerleader Claire in NBC's Heroes, told SCI FI Wire that viewers will see a different side of the character in the upcoming third season: an older, badass Future Claire.

"She's very different," Panettiere said in an interview at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour in Beverly Hills, Calif., on July 20. "It's a very different world [in the future], and it's kind of, as you can imagine, a world gone a little bit awry, and she's a very different person than she was."

Panettiere added: "One of the cool things I think about this season is I get to play kind of two different characters for a second, because we pop back and forth a little bit from the present to the future."

Heroes will pick up from the second-season cliffhanger, with Future Claire about to shoot one of her fellow heroes, and Claire remains a central character throughout, said Panettiere, who added that the production is working on its eighth installment of the season, whose subtitle is "Villains."

"There are some things that I think are going on with her character and things that are going to happen, things that are a really big part of the story, but things that I'm not sure yet," Panettiere said. "They won't tell me quite yet how it's going to manifest and how it's going to play out. But I think Claire plays a very important role in what happens, and in that way she can be worse than all of them."

Panettiere added: "I think what we all missed about the second season was that we didn't really get a chance to all work with each other. So we're all crossing paths this season. ... I mean, it is so hyped, and it is so action-packed and leaves you wonderful cliffhangers. It's a really tremendous season, it really is." The BBC have confirmed a date for Heroes Season 3 to start in the UK, according to what they had said before, they want the US air dates and UK air dates closer than before so that there's not that many people downloading episodes from torrents and such.

Sorry to double post but I've watched the opening to season 3 now, two episodes in and wanting more.

OKay, Nathan finding God is a bit rubbish but with him being the only one to see Linderman that kinda made things okay to bear. I love Tracy and the cyrokinesis was wicked, I love that power and can't wait to see more of it. Claire being cut open was funny as hell, just watching her with Sylar was like WHOA!.

Now for the whole revelation that Angela made at the end of episode 2, that was just :thud:.

I truly didn't expect that to happen, I was trying to enjoy a sandwhich and I choked, it was shocking and well done. As for the future that Hiro saw, :wow: that's one apocalypse and I even was like :shifty:

Now I hope to see more of the villains and I can't believe Sylar killed Bob but thank god, now Elle's got the grief needed to battle on. I can't wait for Matt to finish his spirit walk, that was one funny scene. As for Mohinder & Maya, Maya has grown already as a character and I :heart: her. Mohinder on the other hand has done my nut in, even with those powers he's still the same boring mohinder. But I do hope that he gets something bad happen to him big time with that funny skin peeling/ The Fly thing going on. :-p

I loved Heroes a while back, then I just sort of lost track of it, which is a shame. When season 2 was done airing here, I had a choice to neither sit patiently and wait for season 3, or watch on the computer. The thing is I think I missed the season finale, or it has not aired yet. I really should start seeing it again. I find the badness of Sylar irresistable. :) I think that character is very complex and interesting. But then again, I must have alot to catch up and what I have grasped, he's gone even worse? :p Sounds great to me! I love the plots and Elle is also a great character. I think I have a thing for the evil people. :)
