Does anyone have tattoos or piercings? Maybe yours are in a place that is totally original. Share them here, pictures are also welcome, we wanna see!!!

I have a tattoo of a green butterfly and flowers and detail surounding it on my right ankle. (I will post a picture soon) I haven't been so dairing with piercings, I have my 2 holes in each lobe and my navel pierced.

How about you guys?

I've had two piercings in each ear and I had my belly button peirced as well. But unfortunately that closed up. I also have a medium sized fairy tattoo on my left shoulder blade. I had that done when I was eighteen years old. Let's just say, everytime the needle hit the bone, it burned. I still remember what it felt like and that was nearly five years ago. >_<

Mine hurt a little too, the closer the vine got to my heel the more I swore at the poor guy. It was just uncomfortable for me, it wouldn't stop me getting another I don't think. I only had mine done two weeks ago and I'm 19. I think it's best to wait and pick something you really like. I'm going to flash my wrinkly ankle when i'm 70 because I like my tat, not hide it because I regret it. :P

I'm thinking of getting an eyebrow pierce, and maybe one up on there on my ear (I don't know how to say it, so yeah...) and ... yeah. I don't like tattos. No offence. For some reason, I find it... torturous. Lol. :D

I used to have one hole in each earlobe, but I had to take the earrings out, it hurt to damn much and it got infected. So piercings is not really my thing... but tattoos. Mhmm. I'm totally getting some when I turn 18. :-p

I had a piercing in my left ear, but that got infected. So now I got a golden spike stud through my left eyebrow, I'm also pondering getting a self drawn tattoo inked in. That will go from my arm down to my hand. But all my friends think it's better if it does not reach my hand, that way people won't know I have one and won't proceed to judge me for it.

But I'm still thinking of getting it.

I have four tattoos, in various places around my body :-p My most recent one is on my lower back, it's a tribal star symbol. :) I also have an Egyptian ankh on the back of my neck. They can be quite addicting, and I've already given some thought as to what my next one will be... but I also choose things that are tasteful and that I won't regret when I get older ;)

In addition to the numerous holes in my ears :-p recently I got my nose pierced as well... something that I've wanted to do for a while, but finally got around to :D It's a very tiny little stud, quite tasteful, and I've gotten many compliments on it. I love it :D

Just my ears for piercings. Only one hole in each ear, and that was done when I was 3 weeks old. I don't plan on getting any other piercings, but I would love to get a nose piercing, traditional Indian style.

I have one tattoo so far. The 3 Libra's symbol from the band A Perfect Circle on my back just below my neck. I like the fact that it is low enough to hide by a normal shirt, but easy enough to show with a tank top. I plan on getting more, since I plan on each having significant meanings.

I have a piercing on my left eyebrow and a tattoo of the triple goddess on my upper back near the base of my neck.

For piercings I have my lobe done once in each ear, then in my left ear I have 2 helix piercings and 1 tragus. I used to have my eyebrow done but that got kind of dated so I took it out. If I was going for another piercing I'd probably get a tongue frenulum done.

As for tattoos, I'm still deciding if I should get one. I can't even decide where, either my bicep (or lack thereof), down my spine (middle of my back, a vertical tribal design that is about 4 - 6 inches long), or my right shoulderblade. I'd probably design the tattoo myself..

I didn't know this thread was here or I would of posted sooner! The piercings I have are fairly unique, I'd say its one of the last places people would get pierced and its very rare to see someone with these. Let me set the story up first and foremost:

I am not one to get tattoos or piercings; thats just not my character. But I grew up in a band and we traveled all the time and played music and whatnot, and my friends are all the type to get piercings and tattoos. So my friends would always try and pressure me to get something done and I always refused until one day...

I call my friend Paul (who played drums for us) and told him that if he went with me and got the same piercing, I would pierce both of my nipples.

So as a complete joke, not to be cool or look good (cause I dont think it is either), we went through the torture of piercing our nipples. So right now I have horseshoes on either one. Hip hip...hooray.

This will make Kate faint.

Firstly - Kay, I love your tattoo. It's gorgeous!

And secondly, I've been meaning to post in here for a while xD

Currently I have 9 piercings. 6 lobe, 2 mid-ear (can't think at the moment what that areas called) and one up further. And 3 wonderful tattoo's. One on my lower back - a bluebird and the symbol for happiness, one on my hip - some kind of flowy, ribbony heart, and one on my right middle finger - the word 'Trust'. And I'll tell you right now, the one on my finger hurt more than ANYTHING else ever has. I swear by the time the tattooist got to the last 't' he might as well have been cutting between my fingers with a razor blade. I believe Jen, Ellen and Chrissie thought it was a laugh though :-p

I've decided I want maybe 3 more tattoo's in obscure places - although 1 would technically be an addition and the places are sadly becoming more and more vogue :( and I'm getting my tragus pierced on my birthday - woo!

I seriously thought I had responded to this earlier. :hehe: I can't help but wonder if you've kept them or if you've taken them out by now. :chin: But seriously, you're a whole lot braver than I am for even thinking about doing that.

Just, always make sure you're wearing a shirt if you get in a fight. ;)

I must be one of the least modified people here. All I've got so far are the standard earlobe piercings. I suppose it's because I've never had a good experience with having things pierced.

I first got my ears pierced when I was 8, at the mall. My left ear became so infected that the skin bubbled right over the stud and sucked it into the tissue of my ear. I spent 8 hours in the emergency room while my dad, a male doctor and a male nurse had to take turns holding me down and trying to yank the stud out through the back of my ear. Definitely one of the worst days on my life. :lmao:

I tried again, stupidly going back to the mall to get it done, when I was 17. Everything was fine and I developed a fondness for big, dangling, complicated, heavy earrings. My freshmen year at uni, I was walking to class. It was really windy that day, and my earring caught in my hair. My left ear (omg, again!) was torn nearly all the way down. Funny thing is, it didn't hurt at all. :wow:

I finally wised up and went to a tattoo/piercing parlor after my ear healed. The professional piercing artist actually pierced through the scar tissue (I won't even go into how much THAT hurt, but Rory nearly fainted by just watching) so there's no danger of it tearing ever again. Which is nice, because I feel naked without earrings on.

Next step will have to be a tattoo. I just have no idea what I'd get. I don't want something silly since it's such a permanent thing. We'll just have to wait until I find something meaningful to ink into my body.

I've just got three stars on my hip and another tat just below my neck (on spine).
Took piercings out of my ears so I only have two lobes in each and an industrial in the left.
I'm not so cool anymore.

I have two tattoos so far, and plans for a few more. I love them, and they most definitely do have an addictive nature.

I got my first one two years ago just after I turned 18. It's two black roses with a Scorpion perched on one of the leaves. I drew the design up about a year before getting the tattoo done, that's how bad I wanted it haha. It has a lot of significance to me. I'm a scorpio and I also love the Greek myth behind the scorpius constellation. It says how the Earth Goddess was angered by the hunter Orion who went out killing all of the animals just to show how strong he was. He killed the bear, the lion, etc, and so she sent the smallest of creatures to kill him. Because Scorpius succeeded, she set him in a constellation in the sky, and Orion also is a constellation, but the two are forever chasing each other in the sky (one is seen during the winter, and one is only seen during the summer).

:chin: I never saw this thread before, quite shameful since I have two tattoos myself :D I got one on my lower back (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v111/Qod/tattoo_klein.jpg) I designed it myself. I am/was such a huge fan of Charmed and wanted to show my love for that show by putting it on my back but it also has a deeper meaning to it than just that :-p and I also got one on my right upper (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v111/Qod/tattoo-hip02.jpg) leg on the side which I also designed myself. That one is the star constellation Sirius a bit fancied up and well I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter and my favourite character is Sirius Black so voila there we go my second tattoo. Thinking of getting a third which would probably involve Supernatural :D

As for piercings I have two normal ear piercings on the left, four on the right with one at the top. Been meaning to get another one in my left ear but am just being lazy in getting one :-p

I <3 this thread. I love to hear all about others beliefs & tattoo images! Being under 18, it was a little difficult to get my piercings and tat done but I was damn determined! Due to work my piercings were taken out but I hope to regain them :D

As for tats I do have one on my upper back. It's just a small anarchy sign to remind myself everyday of my personal beliefs. When I do turn 18 I have my another tat planned that will def have a personal meaning. I don't believe tattoos are just a symbol to show how cool you are >.> For that reason alone I will be laughing at the mid-aged woman who regrets her bad word tattoos.

What are you planning to get on your right arm?

So far I've gotten two holes in each ear, but my mom won't let me go for more. I'm not one for rebelling so I'm just waiting til May 16th to get more. I plan to get my 3rd and 4th hole in each ear and that piece of skin above the right corner of my lip. Either that or my nose. I haven't decided.

As for a tattoo, I've always wanted one, but I have a fear of needles so I don't know how far I would get with that. I still want one of a lightning bolt on the back of my neck though. Maybe if I can't see it, it won't be that bad? xD

I'm thinking of either a triquerta or some Celtic symbol. Do you have any recommendations?

I'd suggest something far less cliche... and I don't mean that offensively, but I'd suggest finding something that really mean something to you that your feelings of appreciation for will last as long as the tattoo: forever.

Yeah, I know what you mean, that is probably why I haven't gotten one yet. I'm just not sure yet. I was going to do the pentagram because it is a symbol for my religious beliefs.

Pentagrams are fantastic if you believe in that sort of thing. They're classic and you'll never tire of it, because its got a great deal of meanings.

Absolutely. That's why I wanted it in the first place. I'm pretty sure it will be my first tattoo. And since I've been a practitioner of Wicca for nine years now, and will forever follow this path, I'm sure that a pentagram on my arm would make me feel great. :)

I have no tatoos but I have my belly button pierced, both my ears pierced twice and I used to have the top part of my ear done but it's closed up now. I did want my tongue done but I can't, the lady at the piercing place said my veins are placed weird and she can't do it :S

Yep so no getting my tongue pierced. I might get my ear pierced again at the top but I think that would be it. I don't think I'd suit a nose piercing and I don't like any of the others. Except an eyebrow piercing but that only looks good on guys. IMO.

12 tattoos, one piercing in left earlobe, tongue pierced and gauged to 6 (used to be 2 lol). I've seen the point made here a couple times that piercings and tatts are addicting.... and hell yeah, they are lol. Tattoos placed as follows: left upper arm, left shoulder, right upper arm, right shoulder, inside and outside of both calves, right shoulder blade, left side, and right side (the sides are the ones that make you really want, like, a liter or 6 of Jim Beam lmao).

I have my ears pierced but I got it done when I was six months old. So I didn't really feel anything at all. I don't know if I would want to get another piercing. But if I did, it would probably be another one on my lobes.

With tattoos, I really want to get one but they cost so much money. But I probably would the Chinese calligraphy for "dream" on the back of my right shoulder.

Ive got standard ear piercing. Did have my nose pierced but glad i took it out now, i think i was going through a cultural phase or something. I did have the top of my ear pierced aswell but the first time my mom made me take it out, and the next day i had it done over the top because it had healed and i wanted to be a rebel- yes it hurt!

I did want my bellybutton pierced a looong time ago but that idea phased out. Deffinitely love tattoo's I plan to have a whole bunch eventually but atm ive got a trebble cleff on the inside of my left wrist and a bow on my right foot which i plan to get extended in the near future.

Im also contemplating having cascading stars down the back shoulder or some form of leopard print. just black ink though. ill get some pics posted up soon (y)

ahh i was a little gutted to learn that my cousin has plans to have a similar tattoo to me on her hand. It was hilarious though because we were both going on about having one and then next thing you know she was "I want it on my hand" and I was like "Hmm so do I" and then i told her I was having a henna pattern and she burst out laughing. its scary when you have similar tastes as family members.

i might have to rething that one though. haha.

I have one tattoo right now, but I am sooooo aching for another one!

I have "Love" in Japanese on my left wrist. I got it as a graduation present to myself in '08, just spur of the moment the morning after I graduated high school. My and my best friend got matching tattoos. I got mine in blue and black, and she got hers in red and black. I got it on my wrist because it just seem to fit, because I wear my emotions and my heart on my sleeve and it wouldn't seem to fit anywhere else. Then she got her's on her foot because she wanted to be able to hide it but for it to be visible during the summer.

Funny thing was, it was suppose to be in Chinese. So for 3 months after we got them, we had NO idea to what was on our wrists. I knew that it was "Love" in some language, because it looked similar to how it looks in Chinese. So one night I Googled to see what it was in Japanese and that's what we have on our bodies.

Needless to say the whole thing was hilarous, the fact that we both were tattooed with something that really wasn't what it was said to be.

Here is a pic of it Love (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v87/blacksins/n503699993_890573_7388.jpg)

I had both my ear lobes pierced at one point, but then one got infected so I just took both of them out. I'm really wanting to get them redone and get an eyebrow ring.

I got my sixth almost two weeks ago click (http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/original-lie/tattoo.jpg)

So that gives me, bluebird & Chinese character for happiness on my lower back, ribbon heart on my hip, 'trust' on the inside of my middle finger (not happy at how that's become the rage), "to thine own self be true" on the inside of my right elbow, "keep on fighting to remember that nothing is lost in the end" across the in arc of my left foot and the bluebird on the side of my left wrist. :-p and I don't plan on getting another one any time soon, but I do have idea's for at least 2 more.

Currently I only have 3 of my piercings in the top left and both mid-ear ones. But the other six aren't fully closed over to they're all good. I've decided I don't want any more piercings as it is so that's all good.

The only piercings I have, are in my ears...I have 3 holes in each ear on my lobe so Its not like i've got one of those little cartilage thing because no I'm too chicken to deal with pain lol.

Pain is the only reason I do not have my tongue pierced like i'd wanted or a tattoo that i've thought about getting. I'm terrified of pain so I tend to stay away from anything that would intentionally cause it. I do some day when I become brave enough want to get a small little mickey mouse on my right shoulder with my son's name and his birthday around it.

My tattoo was actually not as painful as I thought it was going to be. I thought getting it on my wrist would be very painful, but it was more annoying than painful. I was proud of myself, I didn't cry:D and I can not handle pain at all.
